About Us

Hi my name is Jasmin and I am the sole owner and maker at Love JEM Handmade. 

Crochet started for me as a way to manage my Rheumatoid Arthitis and keep my hands moving. When I realised I owned about 1000 baskets, I decided my creative outlet had gone too far.

As a result in 2017, Love JEM Handmade was founded. What has developed is a small business focused on using crochet to create modern styled home decor, with a focus environmentally sustainable items and using recycled materials.

I currently live just outside of Hobart in Tasmania with my husband and German Shepherd Bosco. In addition to crochet, I love Netflix, reading and have a fondness for Marble chocolate!
